  • Welcome!

Thank you for visiting my blog. This is a place where you will be able to find my latest photography work and client sneak peeks. I absolutely love the art of photography and consider it a blessing to have the opportunity to photograph so many wonderful people.

Please note: I am currently booking a very limited number of sessions each month and sessions often book out months in advance.

September Minis Part 2 – 2014

Another day and a whole bunch more beautiful families and smiling kids! This set of minis saw the christening of my new couch!! I was so excited to bring out this gem for my fall minis this year and was really hoping it would look the way I envisioned it in the photos, especially since it’s about 200 pounds more than I had imagined when I though of crying it out to the field! Jenna, Mike, Jack and William were my first couch subjects and they did great!! It was such a fun mini session day!

Rochelle, Andy and Zoe are new friends. Zoe was the most adorable, sweet little girl. I loved her big eyes and little sweet smile.

I just love little miss Maddie and it was fun to have the whole family out for photos this time – it’s been awhile since everyone came to a session:

Rachelle and her found my info through Sacramento Parent magazine – how fun to get to meet their gorgeous family. I completely love their outfits – the color just pops!

Jett was such a blast – loved all his silly expressions:

Thanks to everyone for coming out for a mini session this year!!! And thanks for loving my couch as much as I did.:)A big thanks to Gina for helping us carry it back to the car!!

These are amazing!! I love the turquoise chest, the couch and love the poses by the wire fence. So cute!!

Fall Mini Sessions!! 2014

I just love Fall Mini Sessions, the colors, the warmth, the clothes. Fall is my favorite season and it’s made even better by the chance to catch up with friends and clients, photograph their families and visit with some of the kids I haven’t seen for the past year. The next couple months will be filled with new and familiar faces and lots and lots of photos!!!

Brandy and Darrick never disappoint with their super cute pics together!

My friend April is such a good Mom – and seriously these boys are adorable!!!!

This is one of my favorite families and it was so fun capturing their photos again this year:

Sneak peek for the rest of my September minis coming soon….

A long time coming

Eve and I have been trying to schedule a photo session of her four kids for a little over a year now. But with everyone’s busy schedules and four adult kids at four different schools, filled with busy lives and activities, it took awhile to coordinate everyone in the same place at the same time. I am so glad it finally worked out because I was so happy to meet this incredibly kind, fun, beautiful, intelligent group. These brothers and sister seem like they have a great time together! They were so easy-going and so much fun to photograph!!!Tyler:

Jacob:Beka:  And one more of Beka because she’s just too gorgeous not to share these:Eve – I adore your family. Thanks for the opportunity to photograph them and be a part of capturing their lives at this moment in time!!!

Red Hot

So, after this session I’m pretty sure I want to dye my hair bright red!!! I was in love with Erin’s gorgeous hair and she had such a fun, unique style about her. Erin wanted pictures in a garden and we found the most beautiful purple flowers; I could have done the whole session in front of them! Erin – you are just lovely and I loved taking your senior portraits!!! I hope you feel as beautiful as you look!:)

The black and white sweater contrasting with the red hair was probably my favorite look!!! So gorgeous!!! My daughter was super excited when she saw Erin’s picture with these Harry Potter books. She’s just about done with book 4 and was so jealous Erin had finished them all. Pam and Erin – thanks for the opportunity to do your senior portraits. It was great meeting you both and I will have your full gallery up soon!!!
