  • Welcome!

Thank you for visiting my blog. This is a place where you will be able to find my latest photography work and client sneak peeks. I absolutely love the art of photography and consider it a blessing to have the opportunity to photograph so many wonderful people.

Please note: I am currently booking a very limited number of sessions each month and sessions often book out months in advance.

Maddie is a senior at Woodcreek High School and also my son’s Sunday School teacher. When he saw me editing these photos he was so excited – he said that’s Miss Maddie!!!

I loved wandering around with Maddie and her Mom finding so many beautiful backgrounds including the coolest, most beautiful wall of ivy. Patti and Maddie – thanks so much for the opportunity to capture your senior portraits! You are so beautiful Miss Maddie!!!!

November Minis 2014 Part 3

My last set of mini sessions for the year was filled with sunshine and beautiful families. I’m so happy we made it through this whole season without any of the mini sessions getting rained out!!! First up on Sunday was this extended family who has grown by two members since the last time I photographed them all together.

Chuck and Mary Gail buy lots of cute pictures of their grandson Landon, so it’s fun to get them in some pictures this time!

Jason and Caprese – so cute!

The newest addition to this great family is Mr. Levi – I’m so excited to get to know him and watch Landon be a great big brother:

I am loving snuggly family pictures right now and my beautiful friend Shelley and her adorable family are seriously too cute all snuggling together in this beautiful setting!!

Ken and Shelley – always so good to see you and the kids. Shelley – seriously – I am scheduling coffee soon!!!!

Renee is a photographer as well and it’s always great to see their beautiful family at the mini sessions. They also added to their family this year with Olivia, who is already well-trained looking right at the camera!!

Abby and Chelsea always have the most adorable dresses!!!

Troy, Heidi, Shelby and Austin are new friends and were so great to photograph and I loved their outfits!

I just love Will and Stevie… Mike and Frances – so thankful you all come back every year so I can see your boys grow and capture them and their great personalities!

Thank you to all the mini session families for coming out. I am working fast and furious to get your galleries turned around so you can get those Christmas cards moving!!! I will be in touch next week. Thanks!:)Sandy

November 2014 Minis Part 2

It was fun trying out a new location for the Saturday morning mini sessions this year. I am always looking for places that have good light in the mornings and even though the sun was blazing by 8:30, we found some really cool trees to provide just the right amount of shade and unique, colorful backdrops!

Jason, Kara and Jackson were first up, along with soon to be baby surprise. Can’t wait to find out if Jackson has a new baby brother or sister:

I took Tyler’s preschool photos last year, so I was excited when his Mom, Kelly, contacted me about doing their family photos. I loved the golden sunshine mixed with their red Christmas outfits! Aaron and Kelly – thanks for the opportunity to capture your family!

Here are Jacob and Princess Brooklyn. I LOVED her outfit!!

And Mr. Tyler:

Ron, Paula, Emily, Lucas and Daniel make this driftwood look amazing. I have so many great shots of their family:

Matthew brought along all of his favorite things for this photo session and I must say I was loving this guitar!!!! He also brought along his baseball bat and magic tricks. The best part was when he started calling my photo assistant, Josie, his magic assistant. It was so cute! Love this kid:

Thanks to everyone for coming out. I love photographing you all year after year!!!!!

Ben and Theo

Ben and Theo hung out with me the other night at my favorite location and they did the best job looking and smiling for me. It was a great evening with this beautiful family:

The blue trunk has been a big hit this year and Mom specifically mentioned that she loved it from another session. It matched perfectly with the boys’ outfits and they did such a good job smiling and playing the drums on it.

We’re following the leader, wherever he may go…

Theo just turned one and was SO excited for his cake smash. He had no problems digging right in and nodded his head in approval after every bite. It was the cutest thing and so much fun to watch:

Colin, Susie, Ben and Theo – thank you!! It was great to meet you all. Your gallery will be coming soon.:)

Love that fox shirt! Must find it! Great pics!
