After spending some time over the holidays with family and extended family, it really makes you so thankful for the people in your life. Despite the various personalities and oddities that can be found in a big family it is so great to get together and spend time with each other. This extended family was so lovely and so great with each other. They seemed to have so much fun together and I felt very privileged to be able to capture them at this moment in time.

And, the real star of the show…Miss Natalie:

I loved this beautiful willow tree where we had a recent family session. While winter has caused many trees to become bare and cold looking, Heather found this beautiful area that still looked like the middle of fall with golden yellows and fiery reds.It was a lovely day out and I enjoyed photographing this fun family.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with their families. Just after Thanksgiving I had the pleasure of catching up with this lovely family at one of my favorite locations in Folsom. I am so thankful to live in Folsom where there are so many beautiful nature areas and beautiful spots tucked away. I could take pictures in front of this fence all day and pretty much all year long with the gorgeous trees and perfect light just behind it. I am so thankful for the beauty in God’s creation and how it changes throughout the year.
