I love Fairytales! My daughter loves princesses and when she saw me editing these photos she said, “That girl is so pretty. She looks like a princess.” Mission Accomplished. When Cindy contacted me she said she was looking for something Cinderella-ish, like Taylor Swift’s Love Story video for senior photos of Chris with her Dad. I must admit I am a Taylor Swift fan and I was excited to create a fun father, daughter image where Chris could be a little princess with her Dad, Dan. We had to find a good location and this little garden seemed perfect - just look how beautiful it is there:

I had so much fun editing all these images and I decided to play with this next one to give it a little more antique / fashion feel to it:

Chris’s friend Gianna also tagged along for pictures so we captured numerous beautiful shots of her:

Chris and Gianna have been best friends for 5 years. It seems like they have a lot of fun together and they have big plans for college and nursing school together:

One last shot of Chris and Dan:

I had so much fun with you all - thanks for allowing me to capture these images for you. I just love the Cinderella shots! More to come soon!

This week’s photo session with Hayley and her Mom, Darcy was such a fun time. I really love taking pictures and I could have taken photos of Miss Hayley all night. She was so easy going and obviously gorgeous and I had so much fun chatting with her and her Mom. We had fun capturing different shots and even experimenting to help me find my “edgy side.”
Hayley had a pretty specific idea of what she was looking for so I changed my processing style a little to try and capture the essence of that. Hopefully it worked out.
Either way - Hayley - WOW! As I said - you are just gorgeous!

We found this old TV by a dumpster and just had to use it!!

This next one is a little different but I love the natural feel of it:

Hayley does track and cross country. We had to run toward the end of our session to catch the last of the light and she kindly stayed back with me and then pretended not to notice when I was panting for my life

Hayley and Darcy - thank you so much. I have a TON more of every style so I hope you like them so far - you were both so sweet and I really enjoyed hanging out with you!!! I will be in touch soon.
This week I had the great pleasure of getting together with some photographer friends to hang out and shoot with each other. We were lucky to have some young ladies and gentlemen join us to be our models for the evening. It was so fun getting to hang out with other photographers, shoot with each other and learn from each other. I love taking pictures of people and fun things like this help fuel the passion to learn and get better. Ladies - i had SO much fun hanging out with you all.
First up is Marissa - you have seen this cute girlie before. She was gracious enough to pose and smile for us all evening long:

Kate and Caitlyn were simply gorgeous as well:

Tanner was so cool and so easy going…

We had fun experimenting with poses and I had a lot of fun playing with the processing…

Keri brought along her super cute chair!

All of our models were so great. We shot until the sun went down and then we pulled out our lights and shot some more…

Here are the ladies in action:

Here is everyone from left: Me, Tina, Aimee, Katie and Keri

Girls - it was seriously the most fun and I cannot wait for the next get together!!! I have tons more pictures and I might even have another post coming soon when I get some more time. I had SO many I wanted to post.
Thanks for such a fun evening.

Kyler just graduated from high school and is headed off to college with a bright future ahead of him. He is a very smart guy and I can tell he will have lots of choices in his future, maybe even politics some day - this could be a future Senator right here!
This is my favorite! Kyler you are so cool!!!

This next shot is kinda wild and to be honest it was completely an accident - it was my first take right by the water and it is obviously over-exposed (the rest were fine) but for some reason I really love this one - doesn’t Kyler look so cool - like when they come off the planes in Top Gun or something?

Here is Kyler’s Mom Donna - this is a special moment for her too as she watches her baby head off to college…

I love this next picture - not just because of the picture but the story that goes with it. Kyler and I scaled a 5 foot wall to get up to these iron bars. Since we were in a nature area there weren’t many buildings and I always love adding some structural elements into the photos in addition to the beautiful greenery, so when I saw this I asked Kyler if he was up for a little climb! Mom was quite worried about us but Kyler and I agreed - what fun is his very own photoshoot without a little adventure? I wasn’t worried that Kyler would have trouble but I’m not quite as athletic as I look
- thankfully nobody was hurt and now we have a fun story!!! Yet again Kyler - look how cool you look!!

I love Kyler’s green eyes. We were getting ready to move on to a new spot when the light caught Kyler’s eyes and I stopped him “Wait, wait your eyes look so good in this light!” He just shrugged and said “ok, go ahead” as if he had no idea what I was talking about!
Donna knew though - she agreed he has the best color eyes.

Kyler and Donna - it was just too fun hanging out with you!!! Thank you so much for a great session - hope you like your sneak peek!
