Today has been a very emotional day. Last night we lost a good family friend, Will Smith, who died very suddenly and tragically from a heart attack. He was 41 years old and has a wonderful wife and 4 children. I cannot say enough nice things about him and his family. They are truly wonderful people, loved by everyone they know. They have opened their home to several foster children and were in the process of adopting a little girl from the Philippines with some special conditions. It has been a roller coaster of emotion for those who are close to him and I am truly heart broken for his wife and children.
You can read more about it in the article below:

I wasn’t going to do a post today because I couldn’t focus or think of anything interesting given today’s events but I decided to keep it simple and just share our love - Our hearts and certainly our prayers go out to the Smith Family tonight.

Sharing some pictures I took over Christmas vacation, of my husband’s Uncle, Aunt and cousins - affectionately referred to as: “the triplets.” Can you imagine? They are all so photogenic so I ended up with lots of great shots. Here are some of them:

I am really looking forward to 2010! A new year means lots of new opportunities, new momentum and new pictures!!! I can’t wait for all that 2010 will bring. I am super excited to share that in March I will be attending the Nichole Van workshop. She is an amazing photographer and I am just counting down the days until I can learn from her!!
Over the holidays we got the chance to play in the snow - here is a shot of my daughter that I loved and a few others of my family.

I wish everyone a Happy New Year and a great 2010!!!
