Little Miss Averi was only 6 days old when I got the chance to photograph her. She was a very good little baby and she really loved my space heater. As long as we kept it on her she was happy!! Here are a few of the many images we captured:

Baby Judah wasn’t even supposed to be born yet! But he graced us all with his presence 5 weeks early and made it just in time for the New Year! He was so little - I’m always amazed at how tiny newborns are when it’s been a little while since I’ve held one. He wanted nothing to do with sleeping. After about 2 hours of trying everything and the light fading out on us, he finally just nodded off on one of my blankets and we quickly went to work! After I left, Mom said he wouldn’t wake up for anything! I can understand though - all that excitement - who would want to miss their first big photo session??
I remember what it was like being a first-time Mom. When my daughter was born we were so excited, exhausted, overjoyed and overwhelmed all at the same time. Ed and Janet just had their first little one - two week old Benjamin. It was fun to hear the stories and see how they interacted with Benjamin and remember back to when my daughter Haylie was born. Benjamin was such a good baby. Even though he didn’t fall asleep until the last 10 minutes of our two hour session, he did a great job with awake pictures:
I love this next one. Benjamin was a little guy - just over 6 pounds when he was born - and I love how tiny he looks here!
