Yesterday I thoroughly enjoyed 4 full hours of mini sessions with both old and new clients. It was great to meet up with 8 different families and capture some updated images. The sessions were broken into two halves (4 in the morning and 4 in the evening) so my posts will be broken out the same way. Here are the morning mini sessions and I will post the evening minis tomorrow.
Shortly before leaving the house, I made the last minute decision to bring along my son Raider to be my assistant for the day. From now on, no photo session will ever be the same without him! Raider was such a great help to me all day long and I was so thankful he was there to assist with the busyness that mini sessions entail. Raider helped meet clients as they arrive, while I was still taking pictures of the previous family; then after the session he got model releases signed and helped pass out stickers and treats for the kids, he moved props around and ran back to the car a million different times for things I forgot; he held the reflector and the diffuser – needless to say his assistance was priceless. One of his other duties was posing for lighting tests and his expressions for our test shots got sillier and sillier – here was a good one. Thanks Raider!!!

The morning started off with Sheila’s beautiful girls – Gabby and Sophia. Aren’t they gorgeous?

Then I got to catch up with such a sweet, fun client – Kelly, her husband Jeff and their boys – Jacob and Gavin:

Last I saw Kelly – this little guy was in her tummy and now he is a 1 year old – look at those beautiful eyes:

I had to include this one of Kelly and Jeff – so sweet!!

It was fun to meet Jessica and Nick and their little ones: Anika and Alex

I just love this next family as well – Rob, Cheryl and miss Samantha are some of the nicest people I have met. I love Samantha’s big smiles!!

Thank you to everyone for coming out in the heat and allowing me to photograph your family. I had the most wonderful time and it was really so great to see and meet everyone!!
