My little Haylie just LOVES to dress up and be “beautiful,” despite her Mommy’s best efforts to convince her she doesn’t need to be fancy to be beautiful! She has been waiting with high anticipation for her dance recital where she could perform on a big stage and “be so beautiful like a princess!” She even got to wear a little make-up which was a first for her, so she simply could not wait. It’s so amazing to watch your children grow up and see what kind of people they become. As I watch her dance and just look at her smile I simply can’t help but burst with joy. I am so very blessed to be her Mommy. Here are some shots we quickly captured before the light went away, while Haylie was still in her dance recital dress (sans tights and tap shoes):

as fox and i were sitting here looking at the photos he said, “baby” and i taught him to say “hailey” and he keeps repeating it over and over-”hailey hailey hailey!” and then he started giving air kisses! we have a fan!
