I don’t even know where to begin on this post. I could easily talk about how much fun it was to meet up with these great children yesterday; I could talk about the adoption agency, Lilliput Children’s Services, who I worked with to arrange this session for their website, promotional materials and for their families; I could talk about how this is what photography is all about for me; I could share our own adoption story of our son Raider who we adopted through Lilliput when he was 12 years old (he is almost 17 now); or I could just share my heart, which is simply this: Every child deserves a family. That is my passion! There are 4000 children in Sacramento County alone who won’t have anyone to make a card for on Mother’s Day, who go to sleep afraid at night because they just met the people who’s home they are sleeping in, and who desperately want someone to love them and call them their family. Yesterday I had the great privilege to do some mini sessions for Lilliput and some of their families. I think these beautiful faces and joyful smiles tell the rest of the story:
