No Place Like Home

It’s always fun to catch up with previous clients and it was especially fun to visit with Race and Karie. Race is home from his first year at college and although he is enjoying school and of course making lots of new friends, he was quite happy to be home and couldn’t wait for Christmas break to spend even a little more down time at home sweet home!

Seriously is this a cool family or what? You both look great:

The new family pet, Moco, came out for a visit and he did a great job for his very own portraits!

Race and Karie - always great to see you!! More to come soon!

Cousins

This Thanksgiving, as with most, we headed to Southern California to celebrate Thanksgiving with my husband’s side of the family. I always feel truly blessed to be part of such a close, loving family! This year I had to the opportunity to capture some shots of some of the cousins. Here are some of my favorites from the ones I took:

Sawyer was born on Thanksgiving last year and and this year we celebrated his first birthday all together:

Gian Lucca is just a little older than my son James but we don’t get to see him and his Mom much because they live in Georgia. It was fun getting to know him and watching him play with the kids:

Grant is one of Haylie’s most favorite people - she was counting down to Thanksgiving so she could play with cousin Grant:

Love Story

I love Fairytales! My daughter loves princesses and when she saw me editing these photos she said, “That girl is so pretty. She looks like a princess.” Mission Accomplished. When Cindy contacted me she said she was looking for something Cinderella-ish, like Taylor Swift’s Love Story video for senior photos of Chris with her Dad. I must admit I am a Taylor Swift fan and I was excited to create a fun father, daughter image where Chris could be a little princess with her Dad, Dan. We had to find a good location and this little garden seemed perfect - just look how beautiful it is there:

I had so much fun editing all these images and I decided to play with this next one to give it a little more antique / fashion feel to it:

Chris’s friend Gianna also tagged along for pictures so we captured numerous beautiful shots of her:

Chris and Gianna have been best friends for 5 years. It seems like they have a lot of fun together and they have big plans for college and nursing school together:

Cold!

This weekend I met up with a great family who braved the cold for their family pictures. We had a fun time wandering around, finding cute places to take pictures. I loved their outfits - Jana did a great job coordinating everyone with bright, fun colors!
