I had so much fun photographing 2 year old Hannah this weekend. She was so adorable and although she was not thrilled about Mommy putting her hair in pigtails I think they made her pictures very cute and fun. Not to mention the great outfits Hannah had - check out those cute boots!!

Hannah really liked rocking in the chair - I have so many great shots like this next one:

Mom likes vintage and unique photos so we decided to have a little tea party in the field. Hannah brought along her dolly to share her tea with.

Meghan - your little girl is sooo cute! Thanks for choosing me to take her photos. Many more to come soon!
Today was such a great fall day. I spent all morning at the pumpkin patch with the kids, some great girlfriends and our Moms. We had a fun time on the hay rides, the “choo choo train” and picking pumpkins. Then this afternoon I got to catch up with some regular clients who are always so enjoyable to photograph. Landon is one my favorite little smiley babies and Mom brought lots of cute props including a handful (or trunkful) of pumpkins! PLUS, I got to try out my new lens, the 85 mm f1.8, and so far I love it. The clarity and the bokeh were great! I used it about half the session just to ensure I was comfortable with the look of it. Check out these next few shots. For my photographer friends I have included the aperture settings on the ones I took with the 85 mm:
f 4.5

f 2.0

f 1.8

I processed the next one a little different. It was such a precious image I wanted to do something fun with it.

Ryan and Mariah - ALWAYS a pleasure!!! Talk to you soon!
Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing little Nylah. She was so excited for her big photo session that she really wanted to stay awake and be part of all the excitement (as most babies do). But after some food in the belly, a little swaddling and some soft music, Nylah drifted off into her adorable little dreamland. What a precious little girl:

Nylah fit in perfectly as one of the teddy bear gang:

A very adoring Grandma and Grandpa were on hand to help with Nylah in any way possible. I was glad we could capture a cute picture of them and Nylah even looked at the camera!

Thank you all for a lovely evening. It was fun chatting and I’ll be in touch with many more!!
