Those Eyes

When Gretchen called me up to take pictures of her boys she was like most Moms I talk to, myself included. The last photo experience they had wasn’t the best because her boys didn’t want to stand on the white backdrop in the little room, and perform for the camera. I assured her my kids are the exact same way and that this would be a much more fun and natural experience. I think we were able to achieve that and Statler is on my new list of buds. We had a great time hanging out, playing with all the cars I brought, hiking through the trails and finding spiders!

In our conversations, Gretchen and I talked about the type of photos she was hoping for and she really wanted to make sure we captured some good shots of her boys’ eyes. She shared that they have great blue eyes and long eyelashes. Boy was she right. Gretchen – I have lots more but hopefully I captured them in all their beauty. Here are those eyes!!!

In addition to cool eyes, her boys have beautiful skin and very cool names! Here’s Colton:

And here’s Statler:

They were the sweetest brothers!

And the whole family. Gretchen wanted a green, nature feel to the photos so we chose this great nature preserve.

Dear Statler – thanks for hanging out with me. I hope you like looking at your photos. I thought you would like this one with the dump truck. I had fun filling it up with dirt and dumping it out with you. See you all again soon:)
