I LOVE great light!! Seriously, it makes me all giddy inside. And when I woke up this morning I was so excited to see the beautiful “dewey” light outside (that’s my new word that I think I made up – Micah doesn’t like it much but I’m pretty sure I heard him say it this morning when he called me on my way to the photo shoot and said, “it looks like you got some good ‘dewey’ light out today”).
I had sooo much fun today with Brian, Renee, Aiden and Calla. Renee found a great location by the river – I really love it when clients pick a location because that way I know it fits their style, and plus I get to find new places to take pictures! I’m pretty sure I had so much fun though because this was such a FUN family! In order to get the kids to smile Renee and Brian had all sorts of fun words. We started off with “tootie” – I don’t know what it means but it definitely worked. We moved onto “cookie” and “mufasa” – but it’s not just the words – it’s the way they say them that was so hilarious – I wish I could post sound bytes on here…
Aiden was really, really good at giving high-fives. We had lots of fun skipping, galloping, throwing rocks and smiling for the pictures of course – he was a very good sport about all the pictures.
Now, onto that great light…
